Purchase and cancellation policy
What you are agreeing to when you pay on this site, in plain language, before you pay rather than after.

These terms apply to everything bought through buen.surf. They are written to be read rather than skimmed past, because the two rules that matter most, no refunds and a deposit on daily rental, are the ones people are most likely to be surprised by later.

Who may buy
Lessons have no minimum age. Whoever pays on this site must be 18 or over. A child or teenager takes part as a participant booked by a parent or legal guardian, who confirms that relationship and gives consent during checkout.
Prices and payment
All prices on this site are shown in euros and include tax. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
The price you pay is calculated on our server from the published price list at the moment you pay. Nothing your browser sends is treated as a price.
No refunds
We do not offer refunds. This applies to lessons, packs, promotional bundles, memberships, training, rental and storage.
If something comes up, tell us at least 24 hours before your lesson and we will do our best to move it to another day. Rescheduling depends on space and instructor availability, so it is an effort we make rather than a guarantee, and it is not available for changes requested less than 24 hours in advance.
The 14 day withdrawal right
Spanish and EU consumer law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from most things bought at a distance. Leisure and sport services booked for a specific date are an exception to it, under article 103 of the consumer protection act. Once you hold a session on a given day, the withdrawal right does not apply and the no refund rule above is what governs.
Where you have bought credits or a subscription and have not yet booked any session, write to info@buensurf.com within fourteen days of paying and we will cancel it and return your money.
Lesson packs
Packs are sold as credits. You can choose your days when you buy, or buy the credits now and choose the days later. Credits are used by booking sessions with us; they are not transferable to another person and they are not exchangeable for money.
Credits expire. How long you have depends on the size of the pack, counted from the day you pay:

When a pack reaches its date, any lessons left in it are gone, and they are not refunded. If you are close to the end of your window and cannot get a space, talk to us before the date rather than after it.
Daily rental deposit
Daily equipment rental requires a 300 EUR deposit, left in person at reception when you collect the gear. It is not collected on this site and it is not part of the price you pay here. It is returned to you when you return the equipment in the condition you received it.
Damage or loss beyond normal wear may be deducted from the deposit.
Memberships, training and storage
These are subscriptions. They renew automatically: monthly plans every 30 days, quarterly plans every 90 days, yearly plans every 12 months, on the same payment method, until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from your customer dashboard. Use the manage your membership link in the footer: enter the email you signed up with and we send you a link, no password needed. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund a period already paid for, in line with the no-refund rule above.
Conditions and cancellation by us
La Cicer is filtered by the reef and changes a lot with the tide, and the sea does not take instruction. If we judge that conditions are unsafe for your session, we will move you to another day at no cost.
Where moving you is genuinely not possible, we issue a voucher valid for one year, which you can exchange for another session subject to availability.
Safety and your own responsibility
Insurance is included with lessons. You are responsible for telling us, in the booking form or in person before you get in the water, about injuries, medical conditions or anything else that affects how you should be coached. Our instructors may decline to take a participant into the water where they judge it unsafe.
