Cookie policy

This site sets no cookies of its own, and there is no analytics and no tracker on any page. Here is exactly what that means.

Mon 14 September

The short version

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics on buen.surf, no advertising pixel, and nothing here builds a profile of you for us.

There is one third party on the page, and it is the Google reviews.

The Google reviews

The reviews on the homepage and on each product page are shown by Elfsight, which reads them from our Google business profile. The widget is loaded from elfsightcdn.com, so your browser makes a request to Elfsight, and to Google for the reviewer photos, when it reaches that part of the page.

Nothing is loaded until you say so. The Elfsight script is not in the page at all until you accept it on the bar at the bottom, so declining is not a preference we record and ignore: the request is never made. If you decline, the reviews section tells you so and links to the same reviews on Google instead, where you are dealing with Google rather than with us.

You can change your mind either way from Cookie settings at the foot of any page.

Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, which would be a poor joke on a page like this one. It never reaches us.

What the site does store

Your booking draft, while you are filling it in. The booking form keeps what you have typed in your browser’s session storage, so that leaving the page and coming back lands on an intact form instead of an empty one. It is not a cookie, it is never sent to us, and your browser discards it when you close the tab. The draft is also cleared the moment you are sent to payment.

What happens when you pay

Paying takes you to Stripe’s own checkout page, on Stripe’s domain. Stripe sets its own cookies there, including ones it needs to prevent fraud. That happens under Stripe’s cookie and privacy notices rather than ours, and it starts only when you choose to pay.

Links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps take you to those companies’ services, which set their own cookies once you arrive. We embed none of them in a page here, so none of them can set anything until you actually click.

If this changes

If the school ever adds analytics, this page will say so, name the tool, and a consent request will appear before anything is set. The date at the top will change with it.
