A small school, on purpose

Buen Surf School opened in August 2016 on the north shore of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, at La Cicer, where the city goes to surf.

Our founding partner, Javier Antúnez, left a business career to build a surf school he would want to learn at. What came out of it is three values we still run on: respect, dedication and consistency.

We keep groups to six people per certified instructor, and the instructors get in the water with you. Las Canteras is considered one of the best urban beaches in Europe, and it is at the end of our street.
